The path is mostly concrete surface in the centre of the park and winds down and East to finish at the popular Roe gardens which has toilets, water station, Picnic gardens, car park and the hop on hop off bus station
Roe Gardens also has a plethora of Nature paths (hard and soft) with cross links winding down the Eastern escarpment of Mount Eliza offering sweeping views of Perth city and swan river

not much at lovekin but halfway at Honeyeater or boardwalk is the 1400m wide 30m wide lawn area then onward south and east to finish to Roe Garden which as car park, toilets and awesome picnic area views
