 fastrack index Loop around Kings park 9.5km soft and hard tracks some walk, lots of photos ops SOURCE Riding around Kings Park is relatively easy using either a road, mountain or hybrid bike and this is just one of many cycling options in this popular destination. Kings Park is one of the world’s largest and most beautiful inner city parks with many shared walking or cycle paths providing a seemingly unlimited number of routes for appreciating it’s unique flora, fauna, remarkable views, wildlife and stunning gardens. The park is actually larger than New York City’s Central Park and with a multitude of playgrounds and fun activities, there is plenty here to amuse the family once the cycling has been done. Allow time to visit the Synergy Parkland, DNA Tower, State War Memorial or take part in the treetop walk or experience one of the many nature trails. Facilities include toilets, water fountains, barbecues, cafes and playgrounds, so it’s an activity well suited to families or anyone out for a little rest and relaxation. Kings Park and Botanic Garden is located in West Perth, a short distance from Perth CBD. Parking is free for visitors and public transport is readily available. Walks and tours are offered daily.
