Kings Park is one of Western Australia’s most famous must-see places to visit which overlooks the City of Perth. Getting to Kings Park from your hotel or accommodation couldn’t be easier, with various public transport, tours and car hire options available.

Kings Park is only a short distance from the Perth CBD. Transport options include cars, public buses, bus tours, cycling, walking and more.

From the City   (West)

Kings Park is a lovely walk from the city. 

1. Stroll up St Georges Terrace  (West)
in a westerly direction (St Georges Terrace becomes Malcolm Street) and turn left at the roundabout into Kings Park. 
You will find yourself right at the spot for the best views overlooking the city.

2. conquer Jacobs ladder (S.West)
can you handle the famous 292 steps up

From Swan river

Walking
South East Point via the famous Kokoda memorial track, steps up eliza with memorial plaques of the conflict of war
at the base on Mounts Bay Road there are several car parks as well as a Micro Brewery Bistro 

Cycling: if you can carry your bike up the steps (good exercise) otherwise there are connecting cycle paths that weave around






From the Blue Boat House

three (3) areas where you can park to get the most popular selfie shots of the blue boat house and then a special trek up the crawley stops (103 mtrs)








Bike Hire


SpinwayWa D.I.Y. do it yourself bike hire located behind Fraser restaurant 




Spinway have stations all around the city so you can hire a bike and ride up to Kings Park however the bike must be returned to the same station







Tram


FREE hourly tram from Subiaco train station to Fraser ace Precinct

1. Transperth

Central Perth offers free travel on Buses and Trains through and around the CBD as long as you start and finish your travel within the same Zone. To get to Kings Park easily, we recommend Transperth bus route 935, which travels from St Georges Terrace right into the heart of Kings Park.
