  AboutThe words Mill point affectionately refer to the Historical landmark of "The Old Mill" a most fully restored flour mill from the settler days.
The location is the point of land where the "Narrows Bridge" connects South Perth to Perth (CBD) carrying the Kwinana Freeway across the Swan River.
The old mill on the peninsula is identified in early sources as being on Point Belches.
The base of the narrows bridge is a popular place for fishing, with the steady current flowing around the peninsula you can be sure of a variety of fish, from flathead to tailor and various other species. Otherwise it's an idyllic place to park your car and enjoy a scenic walk along the foreshore.
in late 2015 the local council is trailing Food Vans "South Perth Streats" at the Narrows with great success
